David France is almost imperceptible when capturing his subjects in a garden or on the dance floor. A self-taught photographer, David has been chronicling his life on film since he got his first Pentax at age 10. His humor and creative way of framing his subjects translates into unique moments preserved for a lifetime. David's shots reveal scenes that others may not notice, like the light touch of a father's hand on his little girl's shoulder as she nervously prepares to precede the bride down the aisle. Whether traveling in a foreign country
or shooting a wedding, my style is photojournalistic - telling a story. Having visited
twenty-one countries in my lifetime, I've developed a keen understanding
of the nuances of human behaviors. Certain gestures and expressions
become timeless in photographs, which are the artifacts we use
to revisit our life-defining moments.
As a married, professional team, Patricia and David offer a balanced photographic vision. Collectively their photographs convey both motion and emotional nuance. Though Patricia and David generally work in and around the Bay Area and Wine Country, they have also traveled beyond the Bay for events. |
